MonitLab

MonitLab implements an R&D project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
The main goal of the company is the development towards innovative analytical methods for determining drugs in biological fluids in humans with the possibility of their wide application in TDM.
The R&D project “Development of the HPLC method for the determination of posaconazole levels in human plasma intended for therapeutic monitoring of the drug in order to improve the safety of therapy of systemic mycoses in hematooncological patients” aims to create a prototype, necessary to rationalize the pharmacotherapy of mainly oncological patients.
The idea is a response to the growing demand in the field of TDM (therapeutic drug monitoring), i.e. the procedure consisting in measuring drug concentration in the blood and calculating individual doses for patients based on these results. It is a practice that has already been used successfully in many countries of the world, slowly also in Poland
